Samuel Adams Raspberry Lemon Gose

The Samuel Adams line of beers are from the Boston Brewing Company of Boston, Massachusetts. This 5.0% gose style beer is part of their summer seasonal mixed 12 pack.

The beer pours a hazy dark orange, light amber, dark apricot in color. There is a half inch of white to off-white head. The aroma is raspberry, some lemon tartness, pretty straightforward as to its description. The taste is a toasted wheat beer with artificial raspberry and a bit of fake lemon tartness. In other words, it tastes a bit like vomit. The finish is dry, with a mild, lemon peel bitterness. The beer drinks with a medium body, and moderate carbonation. I can't say they did a good job with this one.
