Firetrucker Cat In a Tree

This 4.0% ABV ginger beer is from the Firetrucker Brewery of Ankeny, Iowa. They are located in a former fire station, and thus the theme of their brewery and beer names. This has zero IBU's. 

The beer pours the color of champagne and highly carbonated. There is no head. The aroma is a pleasant tingling of ginger, both of the ginger ale variety, but also of the more intense and spicy ginger beer variety. The taste follows the aromas, a well-gingered, but not too strong, ginger beer. There is some spice and heat, but it stays with a pleasant, almost citrusy kick in the background. It drinks crisply carbonated and refreshing. There is a slow burning heat that builds up by the finish.
