Keg Creek Moongold Apricot

The Keg Creek Brewing Company is in Glenwood, Iowa. The brewery is named after a nearby creek which was originally named Five Barrel Creek for the illicit whiskey found there in the mid-1800's. This is their 5.0% ABV wheat ale with apricot. 

The beer pours a clear, solid golden in color. There is a half-inch of white head. The aroma is a big blast of apricot over toasted wheat. The taste follows the aroma, lots of apricot and mild toasted wheat. The finish has a touch of grassy bitterness. The beer is medium bodied with a fine carbonation of moderate intensity.
