Dogfish Head Sea Quench Ale Sour Session

The Dogfish Head Brewery is in Milton, Delaware. This is a 4.9% ABV sour brewed with lime juice, lime peel, black limes, and sea salt.

The beer pours a lightly hazed dark yellow golden in color. There is a half-inch of white head. The aroma is lightly tart, light lime, with an herbal-like note. The taste is lime, lime juice, and lime peel over toasted grain. The finish is tart, dry and lightly bitter. The beer drinks smooth with a medium body. There is a lingering aftertaste of bitter lime peel.
