Exile Barrett Dean's Best (B.D.B.) Pilsner Lager

This 4.5% ABV pils style beer is from the Exile Brewing Company  of Des Moines, Iowa. 

The beer pours a pure, clear golden in color. There is an inch of thick, white, foamy head. The aroma has straw, honey, bread dough, with a nice pilsner funk. The taste follows the aromas, hay, straw, honey, bread, grass, and musky lager funk, with a brightly shining bitterness on the finish. It drinks dry, crisp, refreshing. This is one very excellent take on a pilsner.
