Ska Modus Hoperandi IPA

The Ska Brewing Company is from Durango, Colorado. This is their 6.8% ABV India Pale Ale.

The beer pours a dark copper and amber in color. There is an inch of light tan foam. The aroma is orange, pine, spicy, with dark toasted malt. The taste follows the aromas, a citrus, orange and pine hopped beer over ample malt. The finish is moderately bitter with the ample malt keeping down what would otherwise be stronger bitterness. The beer drinks smooth with tingling carbonation.
