The beer pours copper and amber in
color. There is an inch of thick, off-white foaming head. The aroma
is piney, spicy, orange, caramel malt. The taste follows the aromas
in a well-balanced mix. The beer drinks very smooth, almost creamy
for an IPA. The finish is moderately bitter, but well tamped down by
the ample malt with its caramel sweetness. Decadent is a good name
for this.
