Odell Rupture Fresh Grind Ale

This 6.0% ABV fresh grind ale is from the Odell Brewing Company of Fort Collins, Colorado. Odell is grinding hops to release their oils, and then brewing this ale the same day as the hops are ground. 

The beer pours a very lightly hazed dark, yet sparkling, golden in color. There is a tall head of white foam, a bit fizzy. There is a blast of aroma, citrus, orange, tangerine, pineapple, mango, guava, along with dank and a touch of pine. The taste follows the aromas, a blast of fruits and a bit of dank. The finish is mostly dry with a moderate bitterness. The beer drinks very easy, soft and smooth, with light carbonation. Man, is this tasty!
