Bent River Daytrotter Pale Horse

This is a 5.2% ABV pale brewed to honor a local recording studio. It is from the Bent River Brewing Company of Rock Island, Illinois (original brewpub in Moline, Illinois). Their motto: Get Bent!

The beer pours a very dark golden. There is over an inch of thick, white, foamy head. The aroma is clean toasted malt, citrus, lemon, with a touch of blueberry. The taste follows the aromas, this drinks very crisp and clean, with a quite dry finish that is moderately bitter. The beer drinks easy, smooth, and refreshing. This is a thirst quenching quaffer.
