Deschutes American Wheat Ale

The Deschutes Brewery is in Bend, Oregon.  This is their eponymous American Wheat Ale, coming in at 5.0% ABV and 25 IBU's.

The beer pours a hazy lemon yellow. There is a half inch of white foamy head. The aroma is toasted wheat with light lemony citrus. The taste follows the aromas, light and mild, toasted and lemony. The beer drinks easy and refeshing. The finish is mostly dry with light to just moderate bitterness. This is a pleasant easy drinker.
