Brickway Hef

This 5.0% ABV hefeweizen style is from the Brickway Brewery (and Distillery) of Omaha, Nebraska.

The beer pours a hazy yellow straw color. There is a half inch of white head. The aroma is cloves and banana, toasted wheat. The taste follows the aromas, adds in a bit of lemon. There is little bitterness, and the beer drinks easy and refreshing. This is a pretty straight forward hefe.
