The beer pours a very dark brown with
some dark ruby tints. There is a half-inch of tan head. The aroma is
roasted malt, nutty, dark caramel. The taste follows the same notes
as the aromas. There is just a bit of bitterness on the end,
balancing out the sweetness of the malt. The beer drinks very easy;
this is one quaffable brown ale. A solid standard bearer.
