Samuel Adams Heaven or Helles

The Samuel Adams line of beers are from the Boston Brewing Company of Boston, Massachusetts. This is a 5.0% ABV helles lager. It is part of the summer variety pack.

The beer pours a pale golden and yellow in color. There is nearly an inch of thick, raggedly foamy white head. The aroma is very light toasted grain, with a bit of honey sweetened bread. The taste is honey sweetened bread, a light herbal note, with a lightly bitter grassy finish. The beer drinks quite easy, refreshing, with stinging carbonation.
