The beer pours a dark chestnut brown.
There is a short, thin head of light tan. The aroma is caramel,
toffee, light butterscotch, rum, with light brown sugar and molasses.
The taste follows the aromas, caramelly, dark rum, sweet, with just
enough oaky wood from the barrels to keep it from being cloying. Good
flavors, drinking very smooth and round, with light heat from the
alcohol, and a light tingle of carbonation.
