The beer pours an extremely dark brown
and ruby when held to the light, black for all other appearances.
There is a tall, foamy, and very thick head of tan foam. The aroma is
dark roasted malts, sweet, chocolatey, with some pleasant char. The
taste follows the aromas, hitting the same dark roasted notes, but
adding in a blast of bitterness to cut down on the sweetness. The
beer drinks very smooth, round, and rich, with a light tingle of
carbonation.
