Free State Brewing Yakimaniac IPA

This India Pale Ale is from the Free State Brewing Company of Lawrence, Kansas, brewing since 1989. It features hops from the Yakima Valley Columbus, Centennial, and Citra.

The beer pours a cloudy honey golden in color. There is a tall, thick, foamy white head. The aroma is tropical, fruity, citrus, and dank muskiness. The taste follows the aromas, clean and bright fruits, tangy and tropical, mango and passion fruit skins, with a musky finish. The beer ends dry, with a moderate bitterness. The beer drinks with a crisp carbonation, yet smooth. This is a very nice IPA!
