The beer pours extremely dark brown to
true black. There is some dark ruby around the very edge. There is
little to no head, and it pours quite still, this could be due to a
couple days in the growler. The aroma is dark roasted malts, dark
chocolate, dark fruits, with very light char. The taste follows the
aromas, reversing them, more char, along with the other dark roasted
notes. The finish is dry with a light bitterness. This is a very
nice, tasty, easy drinking porter.
