Oskar Blues Dale's Pale Ale

This 6.5% ABV pale ale is from the Oskar Blues Brewery of Longmont, Colorado (they also now have a North Carolina brewery). 

The beer pours a very clear amber in color. There is over an inch of thick, foamy, off-white head. The aroma is lemon, grapefruit, caramel and pine. The taste is lemony, graham cracker crust, a bit of caramel, and a touch of pine. The finish is dry and moderately bitter. The bitterness increases in the aftertaste. The beer drinks easy. This is like a lemony hopped-up British pale ale.
