The beer pours a hazy dark honey in color. There is a
relatively short head of tiny bubbled, white head. The aroma is toasted wheat
and that light lime/tequila agave note. The taste follows the aromas, toasted
wheat, toasted malt, holding up tangy agave. There is some sweetness, but never
overwhelming, kept in check by the toasty notes. The beer drinks smooth and
easy, with intensely tingling carbonation. So, I wouldn’t pick this, but still
way better than Oculto.
