Wasatch Polygamy Nitro Porter

This 6.0% ABV porter is from Wasatch Beers, from the Utah Brewers Cooperative of Salt Lake City, Utah. It needs a hard pour to release the nitrogen and get the surging head. 

The beer pours mahogany and black in color. There is a very tall, thick, creamy, foamy head of light tan. The aroma is dark roasted malt, light char, mineral tang, dark chocolate. The taste follows the aromas, but kicks them all up a notch, more chocolate, more char, a bit of coffee, so much dark roasted goodness, and all of it drinking smooth and creamy. The beer drinks round, full, smooth, creamy, easy. This is a treat.
