The beer pours a deep amber in color with a very thick,
somewhat ragged, head of off-white foam. The aroma is oranges, orange peels,
citrus, and deep, caramel malt, with a bit of pine sneaking underneath. The
taste follows the aromas note for note.
This is a big orange and caramel type of IPA. The finish is dry and
fairly bitter, with a spicy note. The beer drinks smooth and full, sweet, but
with the sweetness cut off at the end by the hops. This is a nice beer.
