The beer pours a deep amber, with burnt orange, a touch
hazed. There is a tall and thick head of off-white foam that leaves much thick
lacing down the glass. The aroma is tropical fruit and citrus, balancing on
ample caramel malt, but hops stay at the forefront. The taste follows the
aromas, hops out front, passion fruit and citrus, a touch of pine sap, all over
ample caramel malt. The finish is very dry, astringent, bitter. It has the feeling
of its massive IBU’s. This isn’t for the faint of heart.
