The beer pours deep apricot, burnt orange, and amber in color.
There is a tall, thick, foamy head of off-white. The aroma is fruity, jammy,
apricot and peach, subdued tropical, orange and tangerine. The taste follows
the aromas, big, round, somewhat sweet fruits, a solid malt base, and a
blisteringly, astringently, massively bitter finish. Holy puckering mouths,
great flavors, but the most bitter finish on a DIPA I have ever encountered.
The beer drinks smooth and round, with a relatively full body.
