The beer pours somewhere between a dark honey golden with
orange and a light, bright copper and amber. There is over an inch of white to
off-white head that leaves layers of lacing down the glass. The aroma is bright
citrus, tangerine and orange, ripe tropical fruits and melons, mango. The taste
follows the aromas, a bright and intense fruit explosion of various citrus and
tropical fruits. The fruit subsides into a lingering bitterness of grapefruit
and passion fruit skin. There is just enough malt to hold all this together,
but it is the hops that shine. There is a touch of dankness in the end as the
beer progresses. The beer is medium bodied, moderately carbonated, and drinks
just right. By the power of the Holy Coast ,
this is good.
