Odell Loose Leaf American Session Ale

This is a 4.5% ABV hoppy session ale from the Odell Brewing Company of Fort Collins, Colorado. Have I told you lately that I love you, Odell Brewing Company?

The beer pours golden in color, with a lemon tinge. There is a tall head of perfectly snowy white foam. The aroma is light dankness over tropical fruit and passion fruit skin. The taste follows the aromas, mango, passion fruit, light dankness. There is nearly no bitterness. It drinks easy, nicely carbonated. There is a little grainy malt in the background of the finish. This is so good, I don’t know Founder’s All Day IPA just may have to give up the crown to this one as best hop session ale.
