This is a 8.7% ABV dry hopped Imperial lager from Sint Christoffel Bier, Roermond, the Netherlands. The beer pours a light orange/amber in color. There is a
short and thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet and malty, orange, tangy,
some caramel. The taste follows the aromas, there is an almost date-like
element, and then an abrupt grassy and bitter finish. It is medium-bodied,
nearing heavy, with some light carbonation. Some nice moving parts here, but
they fall just shy of gelling together as a great whole.
