Sugar Hill Golden Ale

Named after the Sugar Hill neighborhood of Harlem, this golden ale comes from the Harlem Brewing Company, with the beer brewed in Saratoga Springs, New York.

The beer pours a dark orange honey golden to a light bronze. There is a tall head of off-white foam. The aroma is malty, lightly sweet, sweet potato, with a grassiness on the end. The taste follows the aromas directly. There is some sweetness, but the finish is grassy and fairly bitter, coming to a nice, dry, crisp finish. It is well-carbonated and refreshing. This is a good malt forward, but crisp ending golden ale.
