The beer pours a deep orange amber, and lightly hazy. There
is a short head of off-white to very light brown foam that dissipates fairly
quickly. The aroma is a wave of citrus, grapefruit, over a very strong malt
base, caramel, apricots and lightly candied oranges. The taste follows the
aromas alternating malt that is heavy on the caramel with citrus, particularly
orange. It has a moderate to strong bitterness with a clean finish. It is
mostly an English style IPA, with a small American burst of hops.
