This is a 5.5% ABV India Pale Ale, a "traditional IPA with Southern complexity," from the Lazy Magnolia Brewing Company of Kiln, Mississippi. It uses Nugget and Centennial hops and is dry-hopped with Zythos hops.
The beer pours a bright copper in color. There is a tall head of thick white to off-white foam. The aroma is hop forward, passion fruit, citrus, light mango, with a touch of almost minty pine on the end. The taste follows the aromas, passion fruit up front, the other flavors in the back, with an extremely bitter finish. It is medium bodied, creamy, although the carbonation is apparent. I think I need to lay on a beach on the Mississippi Gulf Coast to drink this. Will anyone buy my tickets?
