Cisco Brewers Indie Pale Ale

Brewed and bottled by Cisco Brewers of Nantucket, Massachusetts and under special agreement at Utica, New York (Saranac Matt Brewing).  The bottle describes this as an East-coast meets West-coast IPA. 

The beer pours a deep and dark amber, copper and orange. It appears slightly hazy. There is a short and thin off-white head. The aroma is earthy, mossy, funky, tobacco and dank hops. The taste is earthy and damp, bitter, very funky. There is a long and lingering bitterness on the finish. This is a strange and funky IPA.
