Back Yard India Pale Ale

This 6.1% ABV IPA is from the Cooperstown Brewing Company of Milford, New York. It uses Cluster, Cascade, Fuggle and a local hop. The beer pours a hazy copper and dark orange honey in color. There is a over an inch of thick and creamy off-white head. The aroma is tangy, fruity, yeasty. The taste is grassy, floral, herbal, stone fruits, tangy yeast, with a quite bitter and dry finish adding grapefruit astringency. It combines elements of English and Belgian style IPA's.
