Mahr's Brau Leicht

This light beer is only 2.8% ABV and is from  Mahr's Brau of Bamberg, Germany (the website just links to their Facebook page). The beer pours a ghostly pale yellow, looking sun bleached. There is a short head of white foam. The aroma is light, grain, straw and a touch of barn, ending on a tart lemon note. The taste follows the aromas directly, although the finish is more grassy than lemony. Very light, but still more flavorful than many American lagers. It is nicely carbonated, but has a smoothness too. It's nice for a light beer.
