Lake Superior Oktoberfest

The Lake Superior Brewing Company is in Duluth, Minnesota. This is their seasonal Oktoberfest beer. The beer pours a dark chestnut, dark amber in color with a short head of off-white foam. The aroma is  malty, nutty and caramel. The taste is deep and rich malt, roasted, toasted, nutty and caramel. There is just enough hops to finish clean and dry and not sweet. The carbonation is low, but adequate. This is a nicely malty Oktoberfest offering.
