Half Acre Gossamer Golden Ale

This 4.2% ABV beer is from the Half Acre Beer Company of Chicago, Illinois. The beer pours a dark golden yellow in color. There is an inch of pure white foam. The aroma is bright, grassy, citrusy, over golden grain. The taste is solid, toasted, golden malt, bread dough, followed by a wave of bright, grassy, bitterness, with a nice lingering citrus fruitiness. It drinks nicely carbonated, crisp, dry and refreshing. This is a wonderfully drinkable golden ale!
