Big Bay Boatilla Amber Ale

The Big Bay Brewing Company is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  This 4.8% ABV beer pours a burnt orange and amber in color, slightly hazy.  There is a short head of off-white foam.  The aroma is malty, caramel and plum fruit.  The taste is toasted malt, somewhat nutty, light caramel, with a pleasant and crisply bitter finish.  The aftertase is reminiscent of the flavors and also has some doughy yeast notes that complement the main flavors.  This is a star of an amber ale.
