The New Holland Brewing Company is in Holland, Michigan. According to the bottle: "Rye lends spiciness to the caramel-malt base, while creating a creamy texture. Dry-hopping contributes a fresh citrus finish."
The beer pours a deep orange, amber, copper in color. There is an inch of thick, foamy and creamy head, off-white in color. The aroma is intense, malty, sourdough bread, mix of citrus juices, with lots of tangerine. There is a creamy element even in the aroma. The taste follows the aromas closely, with lots of bold citrus flavors over a solid rye malt base. The finish is dry, fairly bitter, with nice citrus aftertaste, especially orange. This is excellent.
