Blue Paddle is their Pilsener Lager. It is 4.8% ABV and pours a sparkling and clear yellow golden in color. It is well carbonated and has over an inch of thick, creamy, white foamy head that leaves some light, sticky lacing on the glass. The aroma is clean and bright, grain, straw, hay, grassy, with light citrus and flowers. The taste is rich golden grain, crackers, light citrus and flowers, with a grassy, quite bitter and dry finish. This is a nice American pilsener lager with an extra hop kick of flavor (although nothing near the fruity hop presence of their Shift Pale Lager).
