This 5.3% ABV beer is a wheat ale brewed with Michigan cherries and natural flavors. The beer pours a hazy very dark golden in color. There is a tall half-inch head of thick and creamy white foam that leaves fairly thick lacing down the glass. The aroma is massively cherry, like smelling a can of cherry pie filling, with a secondary note of wheat beer. The taste follows the aroma directly, tons of cherries, more sweet than tart, on top of a light toasted wheat beer. Does this have the variations in taste and aroma and the subtleties of a Belgian kriek? No, but if you like cherries, you will love this beer.
This is pretty good, but I wouldn't be able to stand too much of it.
