This 5.5% ABV beer pours slightly hazy, yet a glowing orange-copper in color. There is a short of off-white foam that leaves a medium density of lacing down the glass. The aroma has notes of tropical fruit, melon, geranium, citrus, pine cone, and stale rye bread, with no one note dominating. The taste is citrus, pine and stale rye bread with a dry and bitter finish. This is okay, but I wonder if it is not as fresh as it should be.
