The Uinta Brewing Company is in Salt Lake City, Utah and was established in 1993. Crooked Line is their higher alcohol series of beers.
This 9.5% ABV beer pours a glowing dark orange-copper-amber in color, nearing a hint of ruby, slightly hazy. There is a small head of off-white foam that leaves sticky lacing of light density down the glass. The aroma is fruity, zesty, citrusy, strong tea, a bit of funkiness. The taste follows the aroma, like strong iced tea with plenty of lemon and a bit of sugar. The finish is dry and bitter, yet light for its bold flavor. Good, interesting, but not amazing.
