Funkwerks Saison

This 6.8% ABV saison style beer is from Funkwerks of Fort Collins, Colorado. 

The beer pours a lightly hazy golden color. There is a tall, billowing, foaming, fizzing, head of white that eventually bubbles down short and thin. The aroma is bright, tangy, citrusy, lightly floral, with honey and grain. The taste follows the aromas. The beer drinks very bright and tangy, with a refreshing fizzy carbonation. The end is lightly bitter. This is a very enjoyable saison, I love its bright and tangy style. This is a really good saison, up there with Saison Dupont.
