New Belgium Eric's Ale

This 7.0% ABV wood-aged sour peach ale is from New Belgium Brewing of Fort Collins, Colorado. It is part of their "Lips of Faith" series of limited releases.

The beer pours the color of honey with an orange-apricot tinge. There is a relatively short head of white foam. The aroma is lightly tart, fruity, champagne and sweet white wine, a bit of peach and apricot. The taste follows the aromas, apricot and peach, sweet fruit, tart fruit, white wine, tart, tangy, and fruity. The beer drinks medium-bodied, with a smooth finish, and moderate carbonation.
