Boulevard Spring Belle

This 6.2% ABV seasonal saison brewed with natural flavors of flowers is from Boulevard Brewing of Kansas City, Missouri. The flowers are chamomile, rose petals, and elderflower.

The beer pours golden in color, a touch hazy, but mostly clear. There is about a half-inch of white foam. The aroma is floral, yeasty, herbal, tangy. The rose petals do stand out. The taste follows the aromas, very floral, a bit fruity, esters of yeast, with a light herbal note. The finish is quite dry. The beer drinks smooth, with moderate carbonation that puts a bit of a quench in the end.
