Great Divide American Lager

This 5.0% ABV American lager is from the Great Divide Brewing Company in Denver, Colorado.

The beer pours a very light straw yellow, almost champagne. There is a head of white foam that quickly dies away. The aroma is a bucket of grain, cooked corn, with some sulfurous lager funk. The taste has the grain, adds in a bright fruit note, sweetness, then a tangy finish, with a light, hoppy, grassy bitterness. The beer drinks easy, with crisp, but not too strong carbonation.
