The beer pours black in color. It is
well carbonated, but its tan head is not long-lasting. The aroma is
dark roasted, a bit sweet, and a bit fruity. The taste has a nice
dose of dark roast, nice char, along with tangy and sweet dark
raisins. There is enough bitterness to cancel the sweetness and end
moderately bitter. The beer drinks easy, nicely carbonated, but not
too much. This is a nice job on a dark lager.
