Carroll Brewing BCH Citrus Session

This 4.2% ABV session IPA is from the Carroll Brewing Company of Carroll, Iowa. It features an experimental blend of hops from Buck Creek Hops of Solon, Iowa.

The beer pours deep golden. There is a long-lasting tall head of white foam. The aroma is funky and dank, citrus, earthy fruit skins. The taste follows the aromas, there is dank, fruit, citrus, earthiness, but also a strange note that is like pine, bubble gum, and barnyard funk all mixed together. The finish is lightly to moderately bitter. The beer drinks very easy, crisp, and refreshing.
