SingleSpeed River to River Pilsner

This 5.4% ABV pilsner is from SingleSpeed Brewing of Cedar Falls and Waterloo, Iowa. This beer appears to honor both the RAGBRAI bike ride that goes from the Missouri River to the Mississippi River each summer across Iowa, and the Iowa Public Radio show of the same name, River to River.

The beer pours a clear, golden and straw yellow. There is an inch of white foam head. The aroma is lightly sweet, bread dough, fruit, tall sweet grass. The taste follows the aromas, bready, fruity, with a grassy bitter finish. The beer drinks crisp and refreshing. This is a solid American style pilsner.
