Exile Backcountry Brut

This 7.5% ABV brut double India Pale Ale is from the Exile Brewing Company  of Des Moines, Iowa. It was made in collaboration with Uinta Brewing of Utah.

The beer pours a clear, light golden in color. There is nearly an inch of white foam head. The aroma is musky, dank, and tropical fruit, lots of guava, with mango skin and passion fruit. The taste follows the aromas, dank, musky, and tropical. The finish is exquisitely dry, and lightly bitter. The beer drinks crisp and refreshing. This is a treat.
