Lake Time Peanut Butter Porter

This 5.2% ABV peanut butter porter is from the Lake Time Brewery of Clear Lake, Iowa.

The beer pours black in appearance. There is a tall half-inch of tan foam. The aroma is dark chocolate and peanut butter. The taste follows the aromas, dark chocolate, chocolate, and a good dose of peanut butter. There are some lighter dark roasted notes of char and very light coffee. The finish is dry and fairly bitter. The body is as light as could possibly hold up all that flavor, and the beer is easy to drink. This is a pretty well done peanut butter porter.
