North Coast Scrimshaw Pilsner

This 4.7% ABV pilsner style ale is from the North Coast Brewing Company of Fort Bragg, California. 

The beer pours a dark golden in color. There is an inch of white foam head. The aroma is hay, straw, grain, with a bit of floral and the lightest touch of honey. The taste follows the aromas, an early summer day on a farm. The finish is clean, and lightly bitter for the style. The beer drinks easy and refreshing with a medium body. This is nicely done.
